Man charged after assault in North Central Regina

UPDATE: After police investigations, officers have charged 40-year-old Trevor Roy Sunshine of Regina with aggravated assault and possession of a scheduled substance. 

Police are looking for information after a man was injured in North Central Regina early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Retallack Street for a report of an injured person. Once officers arrived they found a 36-year-old male with injuries that were believed to have been caused by a bladed weapon.

The male was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Sunshine made his first court appearance this morning (August 7).
