According to a Loyalist Township OPP press release, an inmate is facing several sex-crime charges.
The Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad charged a 59-year-old inmate with sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation and sexual assault.
The OPP were contacted for more information, but the police said they will not be releasing the name of the accused or of the institution where the inmate is being kept. The OPP also would not disclose when the alleged crimes took place.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Napanee Ontario Court of Justice on July 12.
