South-bound lanes on Bank Street between Lamira Street and Randall Avenue have been closed to traffic as fire crews and city workers respond to a possible water main break at Bank and Lamira.

Fire crews are on scene and have confirmed “large amounts of water,” Ottawa Fire Services said Friday morning.
Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area and choose an alternate route on their commutes.
Police can’t say when the lanes will re-open to traffic.
