Shaw Direct customers advised to adjust ratio for CHEX Television broadcasts

CHEX Television is advising viewers who are Shaw Direct customers about recent changes to Shaw’s system.

Recently Shaw Direct changed video compression formats which has resulted in broadcasts on CHEX TV appearing zoomed in.

According to Shaw, to fix the screen image:

Confirm in the preference settings on your receive that the aspect ratio is set to “Normal.”
