Police looking for 4 youth allegedly involved in assault at Calgary mall

Police are looking for four youth who investigators allege were involved in an assault at a Calgary mall in February that left four people injured.

Investigators said a group of youth were walking through Market Mall in the northwest at about 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 27, when they came upon another group. Police say what started as a verbal disagreement escalated into violence.

Four people received minor injuries.

Police said that using CCTV, they were able to identify four people they’d like to speak to in connection with the assault.  They are asking for the public’s help in identifying the youth.

The first youth is believed to be between 16 and 19 years old. He’s described as six feet one inch tall with a stocky build and short, black hair. He was wearing a green jacket and light-coloured pants.

The three remaining youth are believed to be between 16 and 18 years old.

The second youth is described as five feet tall with a slim build, wearing a grey hoodie and white pants.

The third youth is described as five feet 11 inches tall with a medium build and short, black hair. He was wearing a red jacket and black pants.

The fourth youth was believed to be about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
