Three people have been charged after forcing their way into a home last month.
Just after 6 p.m. Feb. 17, emergency crews responded to a report of shooting in the 500 block of Chalmers Avenue.
After arriving, a 33-year-old man was found with numerous gunshot injuries and was sent to hospital in unstable condition.
After investigating, police determined three male suspects showed up at the 33-year-old man’s home and a dispute occurred at the front door. The suspects were able to force their way inside and the victim was shot several times.

The following three men have been arrested as a result:
Brian Wayne Chief, 36, from Winnipeg
- attempt to commit murder
- armed robbery using a firearm
- possession of a weapon
- use of firearm during commission of an indictable offence
- transport firearm contrary to regulations
- possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order
Daniel Kevin Johnston, 33, from Winnipeg
- attempt to commit murder
- armed robbery using a firearm
- possession of a weapon
- pointing a firearm
- use of firearm during commission of an indictable offence
- possession of a prohibited weapon knowing its possession is unauthorized
- discharge a prohibited firearm with intent
- transport firearm contrary to regulations
- possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order (x3)
- fail to comply with probation order
Jesse Bailley Lee Gladue, 27, from Winnipeg
- assault with a weapon
- attempt to commit murder
- armed robbery using a firearm
- possession of a weapon
- use of firearm during commission of an indictable offence
- transport firearm contrary to regulations
- possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order
- possession of a prohibited weapon knowing its possession is unauthorized
- fail to comply condition recognizance by judge/justice (x3)
