Indian born British author Salman Rushdie looks on at a function to promote the film "Midnight's Children" in Mumbai on January 29, 2013. McGill’s new principal
We get to know McGill’s new Principal Suzanne Fortier, the first ever french principal of the english institution. The 61-year-old tells us about her roots in small-town Quebec, her early years at McGill and her background at Queen’s University and the NSERC in Ottawa. And, of course, we’ll get her take on how she plans to manage the student protests and the chronic under-funding of Quebec Universities.

Films on Art
Anne Lagace-Dowson drops by in her role as spokesperson of the 2013 edition of Montreal’s Festival of Films on Art. Anne explains this festival features series of documentaries featuring the behind the scenes making of art in all its forms, with films on everything from musicians Amy Winehouse and Pink Floyd to a gritty look at the Montreal Graffitti Scen. Robotics Festival
March 14th, 15th and 16th the Stanley Cup of Robots takes over Montral’s Uniprix Stadium. The second annual Montreal Robotics Festival is a fast-paced, highly charged robot competition where 76 elementary and high schools compete for robot domination. Gabriel Bran Lopez, the Executive Director of Youth Fusion, drops in to explain how the motivation behind the festival is to get kids hooked on science, and encourage them to stay in school. Colorectal cancer awareness
