House fire in north Okanagan deemed suspicious

File / Global News

RCMP are investigating a house fire in Armstrong that’s believed to be suspicious.

Fire crews were called to a house on fire in the 3600 block of Warner Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The fire caused damage to the garage door and some vinyl siding on the front of the house.

Police said the fire has been deemed suspicious because of its location and some unknown material that was found at the base of the garage door.

No one was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
