Sven Kramer, a Dutch speed skater who already has Olympic medals under his belt, was celebrating his latest bronze medal at the Pyeongchang Games earlier this week when the incident occurred.

While at a party at the Olympic village’s Heineken House, members of the Netherlands team passed around a giant mock gold medal. Kramer and his teammates, Jan Blokhuijsen, Patrick Roest and Koen Verweij, then picked up the medal and tossed it into the crowd.
