Missing travellers from Kelowna have been found

UPDATE – RCMP say the couple has been found in Kamloops and they are safe-and-sound.

 

RCMP are hoping for any public tips that may help them locate a missing pair from Kelowna.

Maureen Tallio and Johnny Philbrick were last seen together on Feb. 21 around 10 a.m. when they left their Kelowna home destined for Kamloops.

It’s believed they were travelling in a black 2012 Ford Escape.

The pair never reached their final destination and have not been in touch with their families, which is said to be out of character.

Maureen Tallio is described as:

  • Aboriginal female;
  • 55 years;
  • 5 ft 4 in (163 cm);
  • 104 lbs (47 kg);
  • brown hair;
  • brown eyes;

Johnny Philbrick is described as:

  • Caucasian male;
  • 58 years;
  • 5 ft 9 in (175 cm);
  • 181 lbs (82 kg);
  • brown hair;
  • brown eyes;

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of  Maureen Tallio or Johnny Philbrick or their black Ford Escape is urged to contact their local police.
