It will continue to be chilly until the end of the week under a persistent northerly influence, but milder air will gradually move in for the weekend.
Most areas will stay dry, with only a slight chance of flurries in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. Clouds will be in the mix, but sunny breaks are possible.
Signs point to a bigger chance of snow on Friday.
