The public is being asked to help identify whoever shot a horse in Mount Brydges.
Conservation officers with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) were notified on Dec. 12 by Strathroy-Caradoc Police that a horse had been shot on a farm on Century Drive on Dec. 10.
The animal was in a fenced-in field and had to be euthanized because of the injury.
Anyone with information is asked to call the MNRF tip line toll-free at 1-877-847-7667 toll-free any time or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Calls with information can also be made to the Aylmer district office during regular business hours at 519-773-4700.
