RCMP have seized 23 kilograms of methamphetamine and three firearms after a traffic stop near Richibucto, N.B.
The raid was carried out on Oct. 31 with the assistance of multiple RCMP units, including officers from New Brunswick.

The Mounties say the drugs were packaged for widespread distribution and are believed to have been destined for locations throughout Atlantic Canada.
According to the RCMP, a man and a woman, both from Moncton, were arrested in connection with the traffic stop and will be facing drug-related charges.
