Motorcyclist taken to hospital in life-threatening condition after crash on Anthony Henday Drive

Edmonton police shut down both north and southbound lanes of Anthony Henday Drive near the Terwillegar Drive exit ramp in southwest Edmonton after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.

It happened Sunday around 9:45 p.m.

Police were called to the scene, where they found a man near the road in critical condition. Paramedics treated him on scene, before he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The lanes were reopened early Monday morning.

Edmonton Police Service’s Major Collision Investigations Unit has taken over the investigation.
