Weather forecast update at 4:45pm:
Welcome to your weekend! Although we have a wet and windy Saturday afternoon ahead thanks to another system pushing inland, a drier trend will begin on Sunday.
Freezing levels will be low enough that most of the mountain passes will some snow on Saturday.
High pressure will gradually rebuild on Sunday and bring sunshine to our region for the first half of next week.
