The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be playing for pride when they suit up against the Montreal Alouettes Sunday afternoon.

The 5th Quarter will begin at 5:00 p.m. Sunday on AM900 CHML, 900chml.com, or the Radioplayer Canada app. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.

Both 4-11 Hamilton and 3-12 Montreal have been officially eliminated from playoff contention but they’re trying to end their seasons on a positive note.

The two teams will meet for a second and final time in the last week of the season at Tim Hortons Field.

Jeremiah Masoli will make his eighth-straight start for the Tiger-Cats. He’s 4-3 since taking over for Zach Collaros on Labour Day.

Darian Durant is expected to get the start for the Alouettes, who are coming off a bye week and are on an eight-game losing streak.  It’s Montreal’s long drought since they lost nine consecutive games in 1981.

The Ticats have won three of their last four games against the Al’s, but they’ve dropped their last two contests in Montreal.

One other note of interest: June Jones is 4-3 since replacing Kent Austin as Hamilton’s head coach.  He is trying to become the first coach in Ticats history to post a winning record after taking over the reins of the team mid-season.

The closest to achieve even a .400 record after taking over mid-season was Al Bruno who guided Hamilton to a 1-2-1 record after taking over in 1983.
