A Moncton man has been charged in connection to a home invasion and sexual assault in the city this week.
Codiac RCMP say they received a report of a home invasion on Cameron Street shortly after 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

A woman in the home was taken to the hospital and later released.
Police arrested a man at a home in Moncton later that day.

Michael Jollie, 25, has been charged with break and enter, sexual assault, overcoming resistance to commission of offence and breaching court-ordered conditions.

He appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on Wednesday and has been remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m. for a bail hearing.
