Police seize Ritalin, hydromorphone and marijuana from New Waterford home

Cape Breton Regional Police have charged a man and woman with drug offences after executing a search warrant at a home on St. Joseph Street in New Waterford, N.S.

Officers say they seized Ritalin, hydromorphone and marijuana on Wednesday evening.

A 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman are both facing drug trafficking charges in connection with the search.

Their names have not yet been released. The pair will appear in court at a later date.
