On Wednesday, Regina police apprehended a suspect who had climbed a tree to avoid arrest. On Friday they said he had been charged with 20 property related crimes stemming from incidents between August 28 and Sept. 27.

Among the offences Robin Ethan Kaiswatum has been charged with are theft under $5,000, break and enter and theft, auto theft, mischief and possession of stolen property.
Kaiswatum, 32, made his first appearance on the charges Friday morning.
Police said an investigation into these incidents is ongoing.
