Police were tipped by an alert resident on Saucier Avenue who thought a green sedan in the neighborhood was connected to illegal activity. When officers pulled the vehicle over, they discovered what they call a significant amount of drugs and a loaded handgun.
Police say one of the males broke into a residence while attempting to flee from police. He was eventually apprehended.
The trio is facing several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, fleeing and obstructing police, and break and enter.
