Fans eager to see Seger will have to wait, after sudden cancellation

CALGARY- Thousands of fans have been left disappointed, with a last-minute cancellation from a rock legend.

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band were scheduled to play at the Saddledome on Tuesday night, but the gig was suddenly cancelled with only an hour’s notice.

Live Nation, the promoter of the event, said in a release that Seger is suffering from an illness, and, “doesnot want to give less than the best possible performance for his fans.”

The show has been rescheduled for Monday March 25, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Tuesday’s show will be honoured for the new time.
