Ruth Street north of Prairieland Park closed for road reconstruction

A section of Ruth Street bordering Prairieland Park will be closed for road reconstruction starting Tuesday.

City of Saskatoon officials said the work between Herman Avenue and Trident Crescent should take 16 days to complete, barring unforeseen circumstances or the weather.

The road will be closed to all motorists, bikes and foot traffic and detour signs will be in place.

The intersection of Ruth and Herman, which is where one of the entrances to Prairieland Park is located, will remain open.

Officials are reminding drivers to slow down and respect work zones.
