After going undefeated throughout the month of August three Winnipeg Blue Bombers were named as the Shaw CFL Top Performers of the month.
On Wednesday the league named running back Andrew Harris, defensive back Maurice Leggett and quarterback Matt Nichols as this month’s best.

In weeks eight and nine Harris ran for over 100 yars and also pulled in 17 receptions for 192 yards. He also became the first running back since 2010 to achieve triple digits in both rushing and receiving yards.
Leggett piled on 19 tackles and three quarterback sacks while Nicholes completed 108 of 151 passes for 1,203 yards.
In a release the Bombers said Nichols has the league-best QUAR rating of 88.9.
