Police looking for man who used stolen credit cards in Hamilton

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly used stolen credit cards at several Hamilton businesses.

Investigators say the suspect broke into a vehicle on Angus Court, in Burlington in the overnight hours of August 12 to 13 and removed the vehicle owner’s wallet from the glove box.

Shortly after 8:00 a.m. on August 13, police allege the suspect used the stolen credit cards at a Pioneer Gas Station near Woodward Avenue and Barton Street.

The suspect is white, 25 to 35 years old and was wearing a New England Patriots baseball cap, black t-shirt and black shorts.

Police say thefts from vehicles continues to be a concern in Burlington and are reminding the public to ensure their vehicles are locked and avoid leaving valuables inside.
