Man caught with slew of drugs during RIDE check

A Port Hope man is facing trafficking charges after police pulled over his vehicle at a RIDE check early Sunday morning.

According to Peterborough County OPP, officers had a RIDE program set up on Old Norwood Road around 2:30 a.m. During a vehicle stop, police seized quantities of 10 different drugs: cocaine, marijuana, ketamine, hashish, shatter, Ritalin, speed, ecstasy, Molly and crystal meth.

Berek Terence Cox, 32, was arrested and charged. He has a court date of August 17, 2017 in Peterborough.
