WINNIPEG — A 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious head trauma after an assault Monday night.
It happened in the 100 block of Martha Street around 11 pm.

Police said they were already in the area when bystanders called them over to help.
A suspect was arrested a short-time later.
Sydney Eric Norman Fleury, 43, has been charged with aggravated assault.
The victim remains in hospital in critical condition.
