WINNIPEG — Police have learned a 37-year-old woman was the victim of a homicide on Spence Street early Saturday morning.
Officials said officers noticed something suspicious on the front porch of a home on the 500 block of Spence Street around 4:30 a.m.

After approaching the home, police found a woman dead with stab wounds on the porch. The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Marilyn Oshawee.
28-year-old Fenisha Peebles is facing manslaughter charges.
Police said the incident happened during a house party.
