How Global News is covering the Nova Scotia election

Nova Scotia voters go to the polls Tuesday, May 30, to vote in the Nova Scotia election and Global News will be covering the results on every platform.

We will have extensive live coverage on TV, online and social media in order to bring you the latest developments and up-to-the-minute results.

On election night: TV coverage

Global News will be airing an election preview at 6 p.m. with our election special starting at 8 p.m. AT, broadcast on Global Halifax. The coverage will continue until 10 p.m. but could go longer depending on how the race goes.

Coverage will be anchored by Ron Kronstein, with Global’s chief political correspondent David Akin joining him for additional commentary. Global News Morning’s Paul Brothers will also be in the studio, discussing the election with a panel made up of former MLAs from each major party.

Marieke Walsh will be live at the Nova Scotia Liberals headquarters for the evening. Ross Lord will be live at the N.S. Progressive Conservative headquarters. Natasha Pace will be live at the N.S. NDP headquarters.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Global News video journalists Alexa MacLean and Jennifer Grudic will also be out and about in communities in Halifax and Dartmouth.

If you’re unable to watch on TV, the Decision Nova Scotia broadcast will be live streamed on Globalnews.ca/halifax, as well as on Global News Halifax’s Facebook page.
