It will be an exciting night at the Western Fair Raceway as the venue hosts its marquee event, the Molson Pace Invitational.
The Friday night event features eight horses that have combined earnings of more than $9 million. Three horses are from the Milton area and one was born in New Zealand.

The harness racing event will conclude the live race season.
Officials say North America’s best-aged pacers will be there with prize money of $150,000 up for grabs. Staff will also have prizes, including T-shirts and hats for the crowd, and scratch and win programs.
Parking and admission are free, the first post time is 7:05 p.m.

The national anthem will be performed by rising country star Eric Ethridge. The Molson Party on the Patio will feature BBQ and beer specials, along with cake in the lobby.
