RCMP are searching for an elderly man accused of vandalizing a land development sign in Peachland.

The man allegedly spray painted an obscene picture, dollar signs and other writing (which RCMP edited in their provided photo) on the signboard in late February.

“The graffiti seems to be an objection to a development proposal as a ‘Notice of Open House’ sign located on private property on the 6000-block of Turner Avenue in Peachland,” according to a Crime Stoppers news release.

Police say the man was wearing a face mask and driving a silver vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
