BARRIE, Ont. – Police in Barrie, Ont., say homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 50-year-old woman in the city.
They say a 911 call reported a shooting around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

When officers arrived, police say they found the woman with no vital signs and a serious wound.
Police say the woman was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
