Muggles watch out – a little bit of wizarding magic is on its way to Montreal to get some mischief managed.
Toronto’s The Lockhart Bar, an apothecary cocktail bar inspired by the magical world of Harry Potter, is set to open at 3979 Saint-Denis St. in the Plateau borough.
And yes, there is butter beer on the menu, in addition to a beet salad and house-made chocolate frogs.
If you dare, try a befuddlement draught, which any Harry Potter fan will remember is a potion that causes the drinker to become belligerent and reckless.
There’s no word yet on when the bar will officially open to sort Montrealers into their houses, but the bar promises to “cause daydreams, neediness and chocolate cravings.”
