Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who allegedly used stolen ID to rent a vehicle and subsequently led police on a chase.
Officers said in a statement that a motor vehicle was rented on Jan. 12 and was not returned on time. It was later reported stolen by the rental company.
Orangeville police had located the vehicle and were led on a police chase.
Police said they’re looking for Bailey Cadot, 28, of Toronto. She is wanted for three charges including identity theft, vehicle theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Investigators said Cadot is known to use aliases.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s location is asked to call police at 416-808-4200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
