One person is dead following a single vehicle crash in the Vernon area.
RCMP say the incident happened early Sunday morning on King Edward Forest Service Road in Coldstream where a vehicle was located down an embankment.

They say the vehicle was a white F150 which failed to negotiate a curve before crashing into a tree.
The driver was the sole occupant.
He’s been identified as a 37-year-old north Okanagan resident.
His name has not been released.
A traffic analyst and the coroner are investigating.
