Lac La Biche RCMP are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 881.
Details of the collision have not been released however, officers say it happened near kilometre marker 159.
Officers say traffic in the area will be delayed throughout the night, Sunday as crews work to clear the highway. RCMP say officers will be closing the highway on an on-and-off basis in order to clear the vehicles involved in the collision.

Traffic will also be delayed on Highway 881 at kilometre marker 120, as emergency crews work to clear a collision from the area. Only one lane of traffic will remain open, and traffic will flow through on an alternating basis.
Travel in the area is not recommended due to poor driving conditions. RCMP say many highways in Lac La Biche County are covered with snow and black ice.
Officers are urging those who have to travel to use extreme caution and drive carefully.
