VICTORIA – Brandon Magee scored twice and set up one more as the Victoria Royals downed the visiting Tri-City Americans 5-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Steven Hodges, Tim Traber and Brett Cote also scored for the Royals (20-15-3), who won for the first time in three outings, while Alex Gogolev chipped in with three assists.

Patrik Polivka made 30 saves for the win as Eric Comrie turned away 28-of-32 shots in a losing cause.
