The Kelowna Rockets have won two games so far on their three-game Alberta road trip, after beating the Calgary Hitmen 6-2 on Saturday.

The game was tied at one after the first.

The Hitmen struck again in the second period, getting ahead of the Rockets by one, but the Rockets responded with three in a row before to make it 4-2.

Two more goals from Kyle Topping and Nick Merkley and the Rockets skated off the ice with a 6-2 victory.

The Rockets play the Edmonton Oil Kings in an afternoon match on Sunday before starting their Christmas break.
