A Vancouver businessman and philanthropist has made a generous donation to help build a much needed daycare centre at BC Children’s Hospital.
Doctor Djavad Mowafaghian is giving four million dollars towards the project.

The generous donation was announced today at the ground-breaking ceremony.
The new daycare centre will have space for 49 children and will provide child care for hospital staff and area residents.
It is expected to open in early 2014.
