The RCMP said it is investigating after a 21-year-old Provost, Alta. man was killed in a crash west of the Saskatchewan border Thursday morning.
Police said officers were called to a single-vehicle collision near Provost on Highway 899, south of Township Road 390, at about 8:35 a.m.
They said they believe the truck was headed south on Highway 899 when it “failed to navigate a bend in the highway” and rolled.
The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Provost is about a three-hour drive southeast of Edmonton.
