Concern growing for missing Okanagan man

RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing West Kelowna man.

Shawn Vibert was last seen by his family during the afternoon hours of Nov. 25, 2016.

Police are concerned for the missing man’s well-being, as friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

Police say they have followed up on several leads since Vibert’s disappearance but he remains missing.

Vibert is described as:

  • a Caucasian male
  • 40 years old
  • Slim build
  • 5 ft 11 in
  • 181 lbs
  • short blonde hair
  • hazel blue eyes

It’s believed that Vibert may be associated to a black 2007 Hyundai Tucson with the B.C. plate  484 VBT.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Shawn Vibert or the vehicle is urged to contact RCMP.
