Halifax Regional Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old boy on the Halifax waterfront Tuesday night.
Police say the teen was sitting on a bench in the area around 10:30 p.m. when an unknown man sat down next to him and sexually assaulted him by reaching under his clothes.

The 17-year-old pushed his assailant away and ran off and called police.
The suspect is described as 40-50 years-old, white, tall and skinny.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
