Two people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Kelowna Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on Springfield Road at Dayton Street just after 10 a.m. One vehicle was travelling east on Springfield, the other west. RCMP say the collision happened when both vehicles went through a yellow light.
“They are both at fault, ” said Const. Lise Marion. “Yellow lights means stop. There were witnesses that were able to say they were able to come to stops and avoid the crash and these two didn’t so they are both at fault.”
RCMP say the two people taken to hospital suffered only minor injuries.
