Sturgis North heads north

Bikers from across B.C. and beyond won’t be converging on the Vernon area next year for Sturgis North.
The 2013 version of the motorcycle and music festival is moving north to Salmon Arm.
This past summer, Sturgis North was held at the Motoplex Speedway in Spallumcheen. But its organizers have decided that they’re going to hold the next event in conjunction with the Neskonlith Indian Band in Salmon Arm.
Management at the Motoplex Speedway say they’re not disappointed that the event won’t be returning as it was not a good fit for the venue.
