MONTREAL – An event at the Montreal Science Centre Tuesday evening featured a dazzling array of delectable dishes.
Gold Medal Plates is a fund-raising initiative for Canada’s Olympic athletes.
It’s also a kind of culinary Olympics where local chefs compete against each other for the right to advance to a national championship.
As local chefs meticulously prepared dishes for judges and guests – people were able to bid on unique auction items.
Several athletes were on-hand – including Olympic divers Emilie Heymans and Roseline Filion.
