R.A. Dickey is heading to Atlanta.
The Braves signed the free agent and former Blue Jays knuckleballer to a one-year deal on Thursday.
The deal also includes a club option for 2018.
Dickey, 42, spent the last four seasons with Toronto, where he was 49-52 with a 4.05 earned-run average.
Dickey, who won the National League Cy Young Award with the New York Mets in 2012, owns a 110-108 career record with a 4.01 ERA in 369 games (269 starts).

He pitched at least 200 innings in five consecutive seasons from 2011 to 2015.
