Air support unit leads Saskatoon police to 4 teenagers fleeing crash

The Saskatoon police air support unit (ASU) assisted in the arrests of four teenagers after a stolen vehicle crashed in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood on Thursday.

At around 11:30 p.m. CT, a report came in about a hit and run at Avenue E and 30th Street West.

Police said the car struck a tree and four people fled on foot.

Shortly after, members of ASU assisted officers in locating the teens. The teens, between the ages of 16 and 18, were taken into custody.

All are facing charges of possession of stolen property, breach of undertaking and breach of probation.
