Kelowna’s first micro-house going on display

When it comes to housing, micro is big these days.

From micro-dorms to micro-condos, living small is a growing concept.

A new company in Kelowna is ready to unveil the city’s first single family micro-house to the public.

Little House Contracting is currently building micro-suites as carriage homes with plans to unveil a micro-home development in 2017.

The first tours of the micro-house will begin on Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 755 Stockwell Avenue.

More tours will be offered Nov. 8, 9, 10, 14, and 15 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Nov. 8 and 10 in the evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
