An update involving a large number of animals killed in the Ellison area near Kelowna.
Several chickens, some ducks and a goat were found dead on the property last week.
The owners were convinced it was the work of a human.
Conservation officers visited the property Tuesday and have told the owners that it was the work of a cougar.
The owners say a rooster and chicken were killed Monday night.
They say conservation officers have set up a trap to catch the cougar.
The owners add they’re relieved the killings were not the work of humans.
