Driver arrested for alcohol-related charges after 3 trick-or-treaters injured on Halloween

One driver has been arrested after three teenage trick-or-treaters were hit by a vehicle on Halloween night.

Toronto police say that two boys and one girl aged 13-14 were struck during a three-vehicle incident at the corner of Don Mills Road and Laurence Avenue East.

Two of them were taken to SickKids in serious condition and the other was sent to the local hospital and treated and released for minor injuries, according to EMS.

Police said all three were conscious and breathing.

The details of the incident are still unclear. One of the drivers of the three vehicles was taken into custody on alcohol-related charges.

Traffic services said the man in custody was not driving the suspect vehicle.

Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to contact them.
