RCMP officers are investigating the theft of a construction vehicle with 800 litres of diesel fuel near Lethbridge.
Investigators said the flatbed truck was parked on a service road beside Highway 3, near the Old Man River, and was taken on the weekend of Oct. 15 and 16.
“It appears a pickup truck may have pulled off the highway and parked behind the larger truck, partially obscuring the suspect vehicle from view,” RCMP said in a Tuesday news release.
Investigators said the truck also contained chains, boomers and a fuel pump from a slip tank.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 or contact Crime Stoppers.
